Mass Drug Administration for Intestinal Worms (Minyoo)/ Bilharzia (Kichocho) in Lake Region Counties

AIHD in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH), World Health Organization (WHO), Unlimit Health and the County Governments of Siaya, Kisumu, Migori and Busia will provide free treatment through Mass drug administration to all community members in, as from 24th to 27th August, 2023. The launch of this activity will happen on the 23rd of August, 2023 in Siaya County.

The treatment is meant to accelerate the eradication of Intestinal worms (minyoo) and Bilharzia (Kichocho). The medication will be administered in the ward healthcare facilities in the sub-counties below. #beatntds
