Lisa Joy Wanjala – Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and has gained experience in data management, qualitative and quantitative research, and the development of M&E frameworks and tools. Lisa is also passionate about the deaf community and volunteers to teach Sign Language to children in her free time. She worked with the Cereal Growers Association, Heifer Project International-Kenya, and Hand in Hand Eastern Africa before joining AIHD in August 2024.
Irene Mmbone – Finance Intern
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance). She has a certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) II. With about 2 years of experience in financial departments and one in Vihiga County Offices, she brings in a blend of expertise in financial analysis and accounting principles. Irene has been with AIHD since January 2025.
Clide Odhiambo – NCDs Intern
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. He brings a solid and meticulous background in planning, assessments, and research, coupled with experience in program execution. As a results-driven and adaptable professional, Clide has experience in Health and Nutrition programming within both emergency and developmental contexts. He is adept at leveraging his expertise in project management, stakeholder coordination, resource mobilization, and strategic communication to contribute positively to any team.
Roy Omae – Finance Attaché
He holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Daystar University and has completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), currently awaiting graduation. He has gained hands-on experience as an accounting attaché at the Kingsland Court of Benefits and further enriched his skills through a brief volunteer stint as a primary school teacher in Kibera, reflecting his passion for both numbers and community impact.
Sharon Vuhya – Communications Attaché
She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Egerton University, with a strong foundation in research, cross-cultural communication, and policy analysis. Sharon is passionate about promoting global cooperation, maintaining peace, and fostering diplomatic relations. She is committed to continuous growth and contribution in multicultural environments. She brings both soft and technical skills to the table, including research and data analysis, internet research and data compilation. She has served as a volunteer with the Kenya Red Cross ( Egerton club), where she contributed to community outreach and humanitarian initiatives.
Marylin Chebet – Monitoring and Evaluation Attaché
Maryline is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Human Development at Tangaza University, building on her Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Kenyatta University. She has developed expertise in Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, as well as in designing and implementing M&E frameworks and tools.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Maryline is passionate about running and hiking, embracing the outdoors as a source of inspiration and balance.
