She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology-JKUAT) and is a registered Public Health Officer with the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC) Kenya. Before joining AIHD, Mary worked for Innovations for Poverty Action Kenya as a Field Officer, was an intern with Mombasa County Government (Public Health department) for one year and volunteered at the Kenya Red Cross society (KRCS) South Rift branch-Nakuru from 2013 to 2016. Since joining AIHD, she has been involved in many activities such as supporting project implementation, research activities and proposal writing.
