Mary
holds a PhD (Social Anthropology) – she
is a founder member of AIHD. She has previously
worked as a research coordinator and manager for
adolescent sexual and reproductive health projects
in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi,
Ghana and Burkina Faso. She serves on various
TDR–WHO committees including the Implementation
Research, Community Directed Interventions and
the African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control.
She also reviews proposals for the European Commission
and other institutions.
