AIHD is a Non-Governmental
Organization (NGO) that was established
in June 2004 in Nairobi, Kenya. The main
purpose of the organization is to conduct
research, training and advocacy in health
and development that is contextually relevant
to Kenya and the African continent; and
to influence policy on key developmental
issues such as HIV and AIDS, poverty alleviation,
child health, gender and youth.
